Several years ago, PAM 111, PAM 005, PAM 127, PAM 217 and AP 15703 made by Noob factory were regarded as the best replicas that are closest to genuine. At that time, PAM 127 was already the same as original, nobody was able to spot it as a replica. One year later, a new boss was in charge of the factory, and he was more likely to replicate Audemars Piguet, Submariner and Blancpain, so Panerai PAM 127 was discountinued. In order to meet the need of a large number of watch fans on PAM 127, one factory named S manufactured 127, but they did not use sapphire crystal, and the quality could not be compared with the one of Noob. Most modification was made on the movement, which is a Seagull manual winding caliber, it was modified by Z factory to the outlook of Swiss ETA 6497-2. Now this movement is perfectly cloned and you are not able to find the difference between it and a real ETA 6497. Please check these photos carefully, the shock absorber, blued steel screws and engravings on movement are exactly the same as Swiss ETA 6497. About this clone manual winding movement, you can not wind it too tight, about 20 rotations one time.
Case is made of 316L stainless steel, brushed, while the round bezel is polished. Case is measured to be 47mm in diameter and 17.5mm thick. Classic crown bridge is brushed to avoid scratch due to frequent operation on the crown adjustment.
Crystal is not flat, it is a domed sapphire crystal, featuring colorless AR Coating, which is Swiss standard. Under the crystal, it is a black sandwiched dial, which has 3-6-9-12 arabic numbers and stick hour markers. The disc on bottom is fully applied Super-luminova, which looks a little patina.
