Several days ago, VS factory published a new model, it is the replica of Panerai PAM 1056. The watch is a special edition for
M.S. Dhoni, his full name is Mahendra Singh Dhoni, he is an Indian former international cricketer. I never watched a cricket match, the watch is so special, but not my style, maybe some people like its style with green dial. PAM 1056 is also the second Panerai watch I have ever seen that features a green dial, the other one is PAM 382, which is one of the best-selling replica Panerai watches.
When I see the front of the watch, possibly I will buy one because being attracted by its green dial and golden hands, but when I check the case back, the character M.S. Dhoni is engraved on the back, with his name “MAHENDRA SINGH DHONI”, I will give up buying it, maybe this watch is more suitable for people who are cricket fans.
The watch is 44mm in case diameter, almost 16mm in thickness, a bit too thick. Case is brushed, including the crown bridge, but the smooth bezel is polished, which forms a high contract with brushed case. Golden hands and green dial are two big features of PAM 1056, the central hand with an arrow tip is for GMT, it works the same way as genuine watch. Small seconds hand on the subdial at 9 o’clock runs smoothly. The dial is sandwiched, with big Arabic numbers at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock, in dark conditions, the dial lume will be green color.
Besides the black leather band shown on the photos, VS factory also offers one pair of green rubber band for PAM 1056, both bands looks nice, you can change it to green rubber when need to go to the beach with your friends. At last, I want to share a big exciting news from VS factory, they have developed a new Clone 3135 movement that has been greatly improved, and they will publish a series of Submariner watches with this new 3135 movement. The first Submariner they will release is 116610LN, price will be much cheaper than Noob 116610LN.
